Ports & Material Handling
The handling and storage of ship cargo: Meaning of "port", "land adjacent to a port", and "transit shed" ... Essentially all parts of the UK coastline and tidal waters are within the limits of an appointed port.
ATEX Environments
There are about 120 commercial ports in the United Kingdom. These include major all-purpose ports, such as London and Liverpool; ferry ports such as Dover; specialised container ports, such as Felixstowe, and ports catering for specialised bulk traffic, such as coal or oil.
As you can imagine most components and assets in the ports are of a significant size and in turn are expensive assets, generally on long leadtimes, making it imperative that the end clients understands the condition of his assets, so they are not caught out by non-performance penalties!
Our experience also covers working in hazardous (ATEX) environments, which is extremely specialised. We have all types of equipment that is ATEX approved, ranging from phones, data-collectors to cameras.
